IQ & Montessori Training Opportunities
In-Person Training Program
We offer in-person training opportunities for communities across Nunavut at our preschool location in Pond Inlet, NU. These hands-on sessions provide opportunities for immersive professional training in the Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit and Montessori approach, allowing educators to experience our classroom environment firsthand, practice with cultural materials and activities, connect with other early childhood educators, and receive mentorship from experienced Pirurvik Preschool staff.
Online Training Program
Our comprehensive online training program makes Pirurvik Preschool’s educational approach accessible to early childhood educators across Nunavut and beyond. The program includes an in-depth review of Pirurvik Preschool's IQ and Montessori professional training that you can do at your own pace, detailed explanations of our educational approach, video demonstrations of classroom activities, practical implementation strategies, resources to support implementation in your own classroom, and a virtual community for ongoing support and mentorship.
